From a Concept to a Community

Taking the Growth Hub from a concept to a community, connecting over 3000 business and entrepreneurs to a growth-ambitious network, industry experts, valuable resources and events to unlock new opportunities for innovative growth and success across the region. Through a strategic blend of branding, marketing and optimisation, I established a cohesive and impactful brand identity with a personal touch. By focusing on clear messaging, advice and consistent visuals, I ensured the CPCA Growth Hub’s mission to support local businesses was clear and effectively communicated across all channels.

Bringing Innovation to the Region

Refining and redesigning the CPCA Growth Hub’s website to improve user experience, SEO and brand awareness. To make funding even more accessible to the public, I designed and released the interactive map to find funding within your local district. There was a lack of cohesion in the district, by deploying a shared content calendar, EDO’s and district council members are now connected and able to communicate crucial events in the region.

Maximum Marketing

From the bi-weekly Business Bulletin, to the social posts, content, blogs, case studies, event videos, promotional videos, interviews, webinars, leaflets, goody bags, banners and pens, I was the external Marketing Director as well as representing the CPCA Growth Hub at regional events. I also worked on cross promoting and sponsoring other regional events and campaigns that would be beneficial to the CPCA Growth Hub Community.

The CPCA Growth Hub is funded by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority and operates to connect businesses to the help, support, information and funding needed to thrive and grow. 

I am proud to have handled the branding, marketing and optimisation operations for three years, turning the CPCA Growth Hub from a concept into a community. 

From the website, the social posts, the banners, the Business Bulletin, down to every last mug and pen, the CPCA Growth Hub was a three year long project.

more experience from the Founder

Before the Growth Hub there was Growth Works – Growth Works was the publicly-funded, commercially delivered business growth service operating in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Launched in 2021, its overarching purpose was to support high-growth potential start-ups and innovative businesses to scale up, thereby creating economic impact through new jobs. Growth Works also aimed to attract companies to the region, offering transformative potential for the economy. 

It was in the final year of the programme I was approached and asked to refine the branding, marketing and optimisation. Taking Growth Works from a cold calling brand to a network of entrepreneurs and businesses ultimately over-delivering on a once failing programme.

I go beyond simply representing clients at events. I collaborate to secure sponsorships and build valuable connections, organise impactful events, craft compelling content to promote them and produce eye-catching promotional videos to deploy across all social and communication platforms.
